Ease of integration is a major consideration when making business software decisions. Earlier this year, Grow Live announced plans for a revolutionary new way to deliver software as a service.The Mobile Worker Service (MWS) is a collection of services designed to open the Grow Live infrastructure to both handset & web developers and system integrators alike.This announcement is part of the company’s medium term strategy to move towards a full service oriented architecture.

Said Liam Hughes, “Enabling clients to host and build client applications based on the Grow Live platform is a great compliment to the company’s existing service offering.” Additionally, the service will allow companies who use the core system to easily integrate their offering into existing systems without the need to develop a custom interface for each.

The company will provide MWS as a hosted service to all customers, and the current Grow Live suite will consume data from the same platform. Developers are free to develop for the Grow Live platform as required.

MWP will also be offered as an installable service for Windows Server 2003 and 2008 and will be fully integrated into the operating systems, negating the need for host software.

The company’s existing integration kit will continue to operate in tandem with the new service indefinitely.

The first release candidate will be made available to existing Grow Live users on Tuesday May 13, 2008
